How do we achieve this?
We Treat People’s Individual Needs
At Secure Healthcare we believe that the key to achieving long term success is to take a holistic approach. By looking at an individual’s external factors and improving an individual’s access to the assistance and range of services available within their community, we can tackle problems that may lead to future re-offending. These include poor physical and mental health, continuing drug problems, a lack of stable accommodation, education or employment.
Secure Healthcare ensures that each individual with health and social care needs has a full care pathway in place that will be monitored by us on an on-going basis. That’s why we not only work with external agencies such as Social Services, homeless organisations, drug rehabilitation centres and mental health services, but also with an individual’s family or support network. By ensuring that these resources are readily available to an individual, the long term outlook for an individual is greatly improved.
We also aim to engage service users in their own care through self-management of chronic diseases, membership of the organisation and representation on the Board. We serve men, women, young offenders and juveniles sentenced and remanded in custody as well as prisoners following release and offenders in the community.
